These terms cover the SessionSorted desktop app and this website. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
SessionSorted is made by MasterAI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16107537), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected].
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on computers you own or control, for personal or work use. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, or remove its notices. You may not reverse engineer it except where the law allows you to.
The app and its name, logo and design belong to MasterAI Ltd. Parts of the app are open-source software under their own licences, which take precedence for those parts.
The app is free to use. Some features need Pro; the first 14 days after you install the app include all of them as a trial, with nothing to sign up for. When the trial ends, the free features keep working.
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. A Pro licence covers one person, on up to three computers at a time; you can move it from one computer to another from the app. It includes the updates released during your update period: one year from purchase, or for life for licences bought at launch pricing. Every version released before your update period ends keeps working with Pro for as long as you use it. You can extend the update period by a year at a time, whenever you choose.
Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which sells the licence to you as merchant of record and handles payment, invoices and sales tax. Prices are shown on this site before you buy, and Polar’s checkout shows the final amount including any tax.
If Pro isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of buying and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. This does not affect any other rights you have as a consumer. A refunded licence stops working.
A licence is for you to use. Don’t share or publish your key; we may deactivate keys that are shared publicly or bought fraudulently.
The app reads the session files that coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Copilot keep on your computer. When you hand a session off or write a review, the app starts the agent you choose, using your own installation and account.
Those agents are made by other companies and run under their terms, not ours. What they do — editing files, running commands, using your plan or paid usage — is between you and them. Read a brief and a command before you run it, and keep your work under version control or backed up.
Costs shown in Insights are estimates at each model’s published API price. They are not a bill, and they can differ from what an agent or subscription actually charges you.
Product names and logos shown in the app and on this site belong to their owners. SessionSorted is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
The app checks for new versions once a day and can install them for you. We may change, add or remove features. We will try to keep the app working, but we don’t promise that it will always be available or work with every version of every agent.
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, meet your needs or work without interruption, and we exclude all implied terms about quality or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, code, profits, business or time, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the app or of agents it starts. Our total liability to you for anything related to the app is limited to £100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights the law of your country gives you.
How we handle data is described on the privacy page.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on this page and in the app’s release notes before it takes effect. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; deleting ~/.sessionsorted removes its own data. We may end your licence if you break these terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you can also rely on the mandatory laws of your country and bring proceedings there.
